Master Piano Chamber Music (including Piano Duo)
The aim of the study is to further develop the artistic personality and professionalize musical and reflective skills. Graduates should be able to play at a high artistic level in chamber music formations and professional ensembles. Certain master's programs have a specific set of compulsory courses, in addition to broad elective areas where students can choose additional courses freely.
In detail, students are expected to:
- Interpret works from all epochs and styles convincingly
- Present chamber music works at a high artistic level
- Be capable of professionally handling the demands of playing in ensembles
- Have a diverse repertoire of rehearsal and practice strategies to work on works of different styles and epochs based on the exploration of different performance practices and playing techniques
- Acquire specific professionally relevant competencies in written reflection through work in areas such as music theory, music education, or analysis.
