What does the recording studio offer?

Our recording studio is the perfect place for your creative projects! Here you can not only make audio recordings but also produce videos. We help you mix your songs and tracks in top quality, both live and for later release. Additionally, you can create and edit multitrack recordings, for example, for backing tracks, to give your band the right sound on stage.

If you are a student at the HMDK, you can use the studio for all kinds of recordings you need for your studies. You are eligible, for example:

    If you need a demo for your career,

    If you have to submit a recording for a course.

Why is good planning crucial?

Thoughtful planning and preparation are key to a successful recording experience. As our studio is often in high demand, it is especially important that you book your projects early. Good planning not only allows you to secure the desired date but also gives you enough time to prepare your ideas optimally. The better prepared you are, the smoother and more successful your recording session with us will be.

To book an appointment, simply contact us via email at tonstudio@hmdk-stuttgart.de. Please provide your name, your teacher's name, the occasion, the lineup, and a contact method (such as a phone number or email address). Don't forget to bring all necessary documents (sheet music or script) to the recording session!

Equipment Rental

For your own projects, as a student at the HMDK, you can also rent cameras, microphones, and mixing consoles. Just send an email to Medientechnik@hmdk-stuttgart.de to make your request.
