The "die-wo-spielen" Festival

Under the slogan ‘... take it to the streets!’, the 14th Student ‘die-wo-spielen’ Festival took place from 12 to 14 July 2026.

In keeping with tradition, the festival focused on networking and exchange with students from national and international partner universities. In two-day workshops led by experienced artists and activists, the students developed a figurative demonstration in public spaces. The aim was to make their presence felt on the streets of Stuttgart using both large-scale and small-scale means.

In addition to the final presentation, there was a supporting programme open to guests over the three days, featuring puppet karaoke, short films and the final workshop presentation.
