Master Voice

The aim of the study is to further develop the artistic personality and professionalize musical and reflective competencies. Graduates should be able to perform as soloists or in professional choirs or ensembles at a high artistic level. Certain master programs have a specific set of mandatory courses, in addition to broadly defined elective courses where students can freely choose additional classes.

Specifically, students should be able to:

  • Interpret works from all periods and stylistic genres convincingly
  • Master the requirements of singing in ensembles professionally
  • Possess a diverse repertoire of rehearsal and practice strategies with witch you can work on works of different styles and periods based on engagement with different performance practices and vocal techniques
  • Acquire specific professional skills in written reflection through work in the fields of musicology and analysis
  • Demonstrate convincing language skills for the respective repertoire.
