The aim of the study is to further develop the artistic personality and professionalize musical and reflective competences. Graduates should be able to perform at a high artistic level as soloists, in chamber music formations, and in baroque orchestras or ensembles.
Certain master's programs have a specific set of mandatory subjects. In addition, there are broad elective areas where you can freely choose additional courses.

Specifically, you should:

Be able to interpret works from all epochs and styles in a historically informed performance practice convincingly
Be capable of meeting the demands of playing in ensembles professionally
Present works of chamber music at a high artistic level
Have a diverse repertoire of rehearsal and practice strategies to work on works of different styles and epochs based on exposure to various performance practices and playing techniques
Acquire specific professionally relevant competences in written reflection through work in the areas of musicology and analysis.
