Master Com­po­si­ti­on

The aim of the study is to further develop the artistic personality and professionalize compositional and reflective competencies. Graduates should be able to independently write compositions at a high artistic level.

Specifically, you should:

  • Develop independent compositional ideas and be able to discuss and convey compositional works, approaches, and strategies with a high level of expertise
  • Be capable of creating orchestrations and arrangements in various styles and instrumentations
  • Apply tools from the field of computer music convincingly and create style imitations in different styles
  • Acquire specific professional competencies in written reflection through work in the areas of analysis, musicology, and music education.
