Stuttgart Organ Academy

8. Stuttgart Organ Academy
24.–27. April 2025
Artist in Residence: Andrea Marcon
We are delighted to invite you to the Stuttgart Organ Academy 2025! In the week after Easter, we will come together for this exceptional organ festival. Our teachers and students look forward to meeting you.
In courses and lectures, each teacher from our Institute for Organ and Historical Keyboard Instruments teaches a specific topic. Together it adds up to a broad and detailed musical landscape. The different artistic personalities, complementary skills and wide-ranging teaching methods reflect the diversity of our educational programme. The organ is presented here in all its facets – from early music to improvisation, via the avant-garde and the music of the great romantic composers – along with the harpsichord, historical pianos, basso continuo, liturgical practice and even baroque ensemble conducting, with a concert by the Accademia degli Affetti, representing our ‘Maestro al Cembalo’ course. In addition to this rich teaching programme, you will be able to take advantage of our numerous organs, which will allow you to experience almost the entire extensive repertoire under optimal study conditions.
In addition, every morning in the ‘plenum’ you will be able to benefit from the renowned expertise of our artist-in-residence Andrea Marcon, who is providing us with his rare expertise. His experience as a conductor with the most important baroque and symphony orchestras in the world is reflected in his understanding of baroque music and his lively and always inspiring teaching. Finally, concerts with a wide-ranging repertoire will round off these eventful and emotional days.
We are thrilled to welcome you to this grand festival in Stuttgart.

3. Stuttgarter Orgelakademie, 14. – 21. Juli 2013
Meisterklassen – Konzerte – Podien
Artist in Residence der 3. Stuttgarter Orgelakademie ist der weltberühmte Maître Jean Guillou, seit Jahrzehnten Titulaire der Kirche St. Eustache, Paris. Der brillante Organist und Improvisator studierte u.a. bei Marcel Dupré, Maurice Duruflé und Olivier Messiaen.
Daneben unterrichten die Stuttgarter Orgelprofessoren in diversen Meisterklassen u.a.
