Master Guitar, Guitar Duo, Historical String Instruments
The aim of the study is to further develop the artistic personality and professionalize musical and reflective skills. Graduates should be able to perform at a high artistic level as soloists, in chamber music ensembles, and in professional ensembles. Certain Master's programs have a specific set of mandatory courses, in addition to broad elective areas where students can freely choose additional courses.
Specifically, students should:
- Be able to artistically interpret works from all eras and stylistic periods convincingly
- Be capable of professionally meeting the demands of ensemble playing
- Be able to perform chamber music works at a high artistic level
- Study historical instruments such as Vihuela da mano, Renaissance lute, Arciliuto, Chitarrone, Baroque guitar, and Biedermeier guitar
- Have a diverse repertoire of rehearsal and practice strategies to work on works of different styles and periods based on engaging with various performance practices and techniques
- Acquire specific job-relevant skills in written reflection through work in musicology and analysis
