Solo Vocal Ensemble

The term "Solo Vocal Ensemble" encompasses various aspects of ensemble work with solo voices. On one hand, existing vocal ensembles within the university are coached and supported. Additionally, new project-based formations are frequently created. The stylistic range of the two to sixteen-voice ensembles spans from the Renaissance to the avant-garde, from madrigals to opera.

This offering is intended for students majoring or minoring in vocal studies. Auditions are required for admission into a project-based ensemble. The artistic direction is led by Prof. Johannes Knecht.
