Eberhard Leuser first studied school music before continuing his studies in the master class of Prof. Shoshana Rudiakov and the Lied class of Prof. Konrad Richter in Stuttgart. He is a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Foundation and has distinguished himself as a Piano accompanist at numerous international competitions, such as the Coloratura competition in Luxembourg, Cestelli competition Stuttgart, VdmK competition Berlin, Meistersinger competition Nürnberg, German Music Council competition Bonn, Anneliese-Rothenberger competition Mainau Island and DEBUT Weikersheim.
Concept Tours have taken him to several countries in Europe and the USA, he has played at the Obersdorfer Musiksommer, Hohenloher Musiksommer and Brüder-Grimm-Musiktage, and he has participated in various radio and television productions (SWR, MDR, 3Sat).
His renowned partners include Olga Peretyatko, Julia Hamari, Michael Volle, Helene Schneidermann, Thomas Pfeiffer, Bernhard Jäger-Böhm, Matthias Klink, Natalie Karl and the soprano Melanie Diener.
At master classes he assisted Anna Reynolds, Bruce Abel, Julia Hamari, Dunja Vejzovic, Margreet Honig and Kammersänger Harald Stamm. Since 2019 he has been assisting Melanie Diener and the US-american baritone Thomas Hampson at the International Opera Workshop Waiblingen. He regularly plays with the SWR-Vokalensemble, the Bachakademie Stuttgart, the Philharmonia choir Stuttgart and was pianist for the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra for many years.
Eberhard Leuser has been teaching at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart as a répétiteur in the institute for vocals since 1993.
