Kes­sel­B­LECH BRASS Festival

The KesselBLECH BRASS Festival Stuttgart, which has been taking place since 2020, is an ambitious music festival at an international level. It sees itself as a cross-genre festival for young and old, for amateurs and professionals, for enthusiastic brass fans and all other music enthusiasts. The core of the festival is an international competition in the four disciplines of trumpet, horn, trombone/bass trombone, and tuba, which is supervised by top-class artists.

In addition, workshops are offered in which both students and ambitious hobby brass players can refine their brass playing skills. There is also an exciting and diverse program of events including film screenings, taster sessions for children and young people, cultural management seminars, and concerts both inside and outside the university – framed by the final concert of the first prize winners. This unique combination of music competition, master classes, concerts, and special events brings Stuttgart to shine – so shine with us!
