Smartphones

The classic scenario: The most beautiful moment of the concert is interrupted by a ringing phone in the audience. Reminder and notification signals are also audible to everyone in the hall. Therefore, please put your electronic devices on silent mode or simply switch them off before the event starts, and enjoy an undisturbed time with us!

Photography, Filming & Sound Recordings

Taking selfies in our concert halls is part of the experience. However, please refrain from taking photos or videos during the event. Besides copyright and personality rights issues, clicking sounds, bright displays, and flashes disturb everyone in the hall. Pure sound recordings are also not allowed during the event.

Late Arrival

Please understand that entry is only possible during applause breaks after the event has started. Especially in our concert hall, latecomers can only enter through the upper entrance.

Leaving During the Event

If you need to step out during the event: Movements in the hall are very noticeable, especially in our concert hall. It is best to leave your seat only between pieces during the applause breaks. Depending on the program, you may need to wait until the next break to be allowed back in.

Dress Code

It's simple: Dress up if you like, go casual if you prefer. The audience at HMDK is as colorful, diverse, and unique as its program. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Larger bags and luggage can be left at the cloakroom.

Free Program Booklets

Free program leaflets for all events are available at the hall doors. These contain detailed program schedules as well as information about the students, teachers, and guests.
