Health Ma­nage­ment

During the semester:

• Tuesday: 08:15–09:15 a.m. Shoulder-Fit in the "Wandelhalle," Level 8
• Thursday: 12:00–13:00 p.m. Yoga in the "Bewegungsraum" (movement space) of the drama department – Arbeitsbühne HG-01.52

Attendance in one of these courses is considered working time.

Furthermore, the university is a member of the University of Stuttgart's University Sports program. The program, costs (student and staff rates), and registration for the respective courses can be found on the University's website.

The main building of the HMDK, located at Willy-Brandt-Straße 8, and the Wilhelma Theater are supplied with a fruit basket (6 kg) each week during the semester. These are available to the administration.

• The acquisition of fitness and training equipment such as yoga mats, gym mats, small sports equipment, etc. will be paid for by administrative staff from the health management department.
• The university fully finances necessary work glasses for administrative staff upon presentation of a medical certificate.

The University of UKBW (Unfallkasse Baden-Württemberg) provides us with the following services:

All students and employees of state universities are automatically and free of charge insured against accidents by the Unfallkasse Baden-Württemberg. The insurance coverage applies on the way to the university and back. Students and employees are also insured at the university itself during lectures and official events. No additional insurance needs to be taken out for this purpose.
