University of Stuttgart/Hohenheim
Since 2004, a cooperation agreement has been in place with the University of Stuttgart, offering a second subject in the teacher education program for high schools with a focus on music, providing for a minor subject in the Master's program in musicology, and enabling collaboration in doctoral and habilitation procedures.

A cooperation agreement exists with the University of Tübingen, offering a second subject in the teacher education program for high schools with a focus on music.
SKO for Conducting Students
Students majoring in orchestral conducting have the opportunity to collaborate with a professional orchestra during their studies. The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra is available to students several times a year for rehearsal phases as an orchestra.
Concert Singing with SWDKO Pforzheim
In order for conducting and vocal performance students to gain practical experience in collaborating with an orchestra, the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim is available twice a year for a joint concert.
State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart (ABK)
A cooperation agreement with the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart aims to deepen the existing collaboration to provide optimal conditions for the students and their education, as well as for the contribution of students and lecturers to the cultural life of our society. The cooperation is carried out within current projects, particularly within the framework of the CAMPUS GEGENWART center.
Merz Academy - University of Design, Art, and Media, Stuttgart
The cooperation agreement with the Merz Academy aims to deepen the existing collaboration to provide optimal conditions for the students and their education, as well as for the contribution of students and lecturers to the cultural life of our society. Association of Professional Musicians Baden-Württemberg
The Association of Professional Musicians represents the interests of all music professions towards cultural policy, society, and the economy. Nationally, over 9,000 members are organized through the umbrella organization, the German Association of Professional Musicians (DTKV), headquartered in Munich. The Association of Professional Musicians Baden-Württemberg e.V. is the second-largest regional association in the DTKV, with around 2,300 members, and has been a cooperation partner for decades in organizing the youth competition at the HMDK Stuttgart. Membership in this traditionally strong professional association since 1949 is a quality mark for music professions. Students at music colleges receive a 50% discount on membership fees but avail 100% of the diverse benefits.
