Description
Study scholarships support three- to nine-month study stays at the Master's level, which begin in August/September of each year and are completed on a full-time basis.
Benefits
- Reimbursement of the application fee at the final host university
- Funding for living expenses and (a portion of) tuition fees, up to a total of $40,000 for two terms (9 months) or up to $17,777 for one term (4 months)
- Travel allowance of €1,400 for transatlantic round-trip travel
- Additional allowance of €600 (as a one-time grant for test fees and initial expenses at the start of the stay)
- Fee-free issuance of the Fulbright visa

Target Group
Students and recent graduates (up to two years after graduation) from all fields of study at state-recognized universities and art colleges (music colleges) are eligible to apply. Applicants must intend to enroll at an accredited US host university as a full-time student starting in the fall term for at least one term (or two quarters).
