Master Historical Keyboard Instruments
The aim of the study is to further develop the artistic personality and professionalize musical and reflective competencies. Graduates should be able to perform at a high artistic level as soloists, in chamber music ensembles, and in Baroque orchestras or ensembles. Certain master's programs have a specific set of mandatory courses, in addition to broad elective areas where students have the freedom to choose additional courses.
Specifically, students should be able to:
- artistically interpret works from all eras and styles with an awareness of historically informed performance practice
- master the requirements of playing in ensembles professionally
- present chamber music works at a high artistic level
- possess a diverse repertoire of rehearsal and practice strategies to work on works of different styles and eras based on engagement with various performance practices and playing techniques
- acquire specific career-relevant competencies in written reflection through studies in musicology and analysis.
