Master Piano Improvisation

The new Master's degree in Piano Improvisation is one of the first such programs worldwide, combining historic and contemporary styles, offered for classically trained pianists. It enables pianists to improvise in a wide range of solo styles – baroque, classical, romantic, impressionistic, various 20th- and 21st-century styles – and also to develop chamber improvisations and interdisciplinary collaborations with performing artists in other fields.

In principle, application is only possible for the winter semester. However, there are exceptions.

    Application deadline: April 15th, 2020
