    There are more than 15 dormitories, located in the city center, Vaihingen/University and Ludwigsburg. In addition, there are dormitories run by private or churchly organizations.     Social housing

    Information on how to apply for an apartment in social housing you can find with the Stuttgarter Sozialamt

    Required documents: official confirmation of residence, student identification, where applicable BAföG-certificate, parents’ declaration of financial support, declaration of your own financial situation. International students have to submit their passport and their residency permit.
