Great! Submit your application to us and also contact the International Office at your home university. They can provide you with further information about exchange opportunities and the regulations of your home country.
Application deadline for the academic year 2025/26 (WiSe 2025/26 and SoSe 2026) is 15.03.2025.
The following application documents for one or two semesters of study at HMDK Stuttgart must be submitted in full and digitally here by 15 March 2025

Fees
Exchange students are required to pay the following fees:
- Student Services Fee: €96.50 starting from Winter Semester 2024/25
- International Tuition Fee: €1,500 per semester for students from non-EU countries
Note: Students from partner universities participating in an exchange program at HMDK are exempt from the international tuition fee.
Please note that the Student Services Fee does not include unlimited use of public transportation. For information on various "semester ticket" options, click here.
Health insurance
Proof of valid health insurance is required for enrollment at HMDK Stuttgart. Further information can be found on the Enrolment page.

Where can I stay?
Dormitories
There are more than 15 dormitories in the city centre, Vaihingen/University and Ludwigsburg. There are also other dormitories run by independent and church organisations. Please contact the Student Union's dormitories administration. They will provide you with further information and an overview of all opportunities in Stuttgart.
Rooms on the free housing market
