With funding from the Federal Foreign Office, the DAAD offered universities a combined scholarship and support programme (STIBET) until 2022, through which scholarship funds were issued to foreign students and doctoral candidates within the framework of STIBET Matching Funds. The HMDK Stuttgart was able to win the Society of Friends of the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart e.V. (GdF) as a sponsor for the awarding of scholarships.
Due to the reduction in the federal budget for 2023, it is becoming apparent that the DAAD will have noticeably less budget funds available in the coming year. The "STIBET III" programme can therefore unfortunately not be advertised for the coming year. We hope that we will be able to invite applications to the usual extent again as soon as possible.

We would like to take this opportunity to refer to the scholarship opportunities offered by the GdF, which will continue to be available in the area of funding.
